“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good
and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
Praise and worship aren’t just a specific situation or an atmosphere in which we do something in order to get God’s attention, so He’ll do us a favor in return. Many of us when we praise and worship we are expecting something spectacular to happen. This is a wrong expectation. We don’t offer praise because we are anticipating for an experience; but rather we worship because already we have received something; we have been changed and based on that now we say: praise to You Lord Jesus, I worship You. Many times we expect something to sort of “hit” us on the head, so we can say we had experienced something. But know this: already we have been equipped in the spirit to perceive things, we don’t need to be convinced that there are angels, heavenly beings or wind blowing among us. We might not agree, but let us turn off the Macedonian mindset and let us allow the mind of the Holy Spirit to do the work for His mind is perfect. Our mentality doesn’t possess the ability or the perception to comprehend the Kingdom of God; therefore this momentum must exist-where we replace our moments with the moment of God because they are perfect.
