“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even
to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner
of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” -Hebrews 4:12
Quite often people boast with their culture. But no culture has the ability and the strength to absorb the Kingdom culture. That’s why the cultures must be inclining toward the change. Just because we were born in Macedonia and by default we possess the Macedonian culture, doesn’t mean that we need to remain the same. Our culture must be subject to change. Otherwise we won’t be able to touch the things of the spirit realm. I shared this with the teenagers in our church, of the importance of God’s word. Sometimes happens when we read the Word. Our mind registers the numbers, words and places. At least that is how my mind works. It places the events, the chapters, pages and I remember them visually. That’s why you have probably noticed during the preaching I move with my finger as if I turn the pages. Reading the Word is great! Why? Because our mind adapts to the truth and our spirit rejoices, for that word was conceived from the same Spirit Who renewed us. Let’s make a habit to have our bibles when we attend meetings. The Word of God is beaming with His life. What I do is I read from it and wait the Holy Spirit to emphasize something. And it happens one particular verse to stick out and I react swiftly! I take it to my heart so it becomes part of my being and later on it can work and bring fruit in my life as it’s written in Hebrews 4:12. God’s word is alive!
