Holy Spirit is dweling in us forever

“Through the power of the Holy Spirit who lives within us, carefully guard the precious truth that has been entrusted to you.” 2 Timothy 1:14
I ponder a lot about the Holy Spirit, about His gifts and I want to shed some light on one expression that some of us believers have adopted. So many times we have heard these sentences: “I need the Holy Spirit in this” or ” I need more of the Holy Spirit. While it sounds spiritual, yet they’re wrong expression because they speak about need. The word “need” by definition means “something that is lacking”
When we express ourselves with these sentences, we are actually saying that we are not sure if the Holy Spirit dwells in us and not sure that He is more than enough, therefore we seek more of Him.
Please understand me correctly! If we think thoroughly we will understand that this is simply an expression that should be out of use, because it speaks of unbelief. It speaks of our doubt that after saying yes to Jesus, the Holy Spirit came to dwell in us. And this should not be at any corner of our minds.
