“Therefore, my dear ones, as you always obeyed, so now, not only in my presence but much more because I am absent, work(cultivate, carry out to the goal) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling(tenderness of conscience).”
Building or working out the salvation as it’s written above is only possible through God’s goodness-His abundant grace. Grace enables salvation to come and faith fuels it to function and be manifested. If you are saved then everything in your life will function by grace through faith; everything that God will call you to do or act upon, He will expect you to rely on His grace through faith. When Paul wrote the truth that he can do all things through Christ Who gives him strength, he knew the power of God’s grace, he tasted it and was aware it was only by God’s grace!
Many times people get stuck within their weaknesses instead of surrendering them to God in order to be filled with the grace that can overcome them. It is possible!!! It’s the same Spirit that can work miracles just as He did in Paul’s time. He is the only Administrator of the grace.
Know this: when you speak about Jesus, then you speak about grace…because Jesus didn’t come with condemnation, but came full with truth and grace. When you speak this Gospel of grace, then inevitably power, signs and wonders will accompany God’s truth.
