The goodness of our Father

“Our faith in Jesus transfers God’s righteousness to us and He declares us flawless in His eyes. This means now we can enjoy true and lasting peace with God, all because of what our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One has done for us. His faith in us guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous unmerited absolute goodness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory.” Romans 5:1,2

If we want to live by faith then inevitably we need grace. When we rely on the fact that God’s undeserved but freely given goodness has been poured out in our lives, we will move toward greater understanding of faith and become stronger in it. When we come at this point we will be people who declare in boldness. Others might look at us as people who boast a lot, and they might say: “well, he boasts that he will be extremely successful, that one boasts he will be rich and age slowly, this one says he will lay hands on sick people and they will recover..they boast and boast!”

Regardless of how people view us(and this is greatly connected with the level of their understanding and willingness to pursue deeper dimensions of the truth), the Scripture encourages us to boast, to boast in and with God.

With this grace that now we posses, we should boast. And we can do that because now we have hope-not just for ourselves, but for others. If we confess that we believe in God, then we have every right to boast in Him Who opened a way to experience all He has for us. I don’t put my trust in the worldly system, nor in political parties and governments. I give my trust to God, because He gives me everything I need in this life. And I will boast with Him.
