Grace is patient with us and made a way for our salvation.
All the heroes that we read about in the epistle to Hebrews were under the law but never obtained the salvation. The law will never have the power to bring salvation to people. Yet it makes me wonder sometimes how the Law made its way in the church? This law was never meant for us.It was specifically for the Jews, for that certain time in their history.
“So let it be clearly known and understood by you brethren, that through this Man forgiveness and removal of sins is now proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes[who acknowledges Jesus as his Savior and devotes himself to Him] is absolved(cleared and freed) from every charge from which he could not be justified and freed by the Law of Moses and given right standing with God.” (Acts 13:38, 39).
It’s so clear. The Greek word used here in this passage is the same word that is used in the judicial system where you stand before the judge with clear case, smiling. God as the Rightful Judge looks upon us and He is smiling because He doesn’t have anything against us. This is our condition. God doesn’t see any guilt in us, because we have been cleansed through the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even is someone dares to judge us or condemn us, God the Father declares: “You are clean, you are righteous. I don’t see any sin, My Son Jesus has justified you and has sanctified you once and for all!”
