Inspired by grace

“Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His name.” John 20:30, 31

There is a reason why we are part of Christ’s Church and why within it we have been exhorted to oneness, unison….till come to unity of faith. Being part of the church actually elevates us to pursue the deeds described in the Bible, that Christ has prepared for us. They are numerous just as Christ has promised, yet through the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, He is so willing to reveal them to us, because now we are enabled to receive them, as many as they are! Now, the ever present challenge will remain: what are the motives of the heart when we pursue those good deeds and plans; is it fear(sometimes almost unrecognizable, disguised as passionate zeal) or in the blessings of the Lord?! Jesus Christ is the true, eternal inspiration for all mankind, the Holy Spirit is the Pneuma-the mighty wind that blows this inspiration to the world. Read this carefully, or read it twice: the only thing that the Holy Spirit will use in our lives as an inspiration in doing things, is the grace. Everything else is a vapor, vanity or a well that is destined to dry up. When the Holy Spirit inspired Paul about bearing one another, He did that just to reveal to us we are able to do that. We’ve been equipped with God’s love and strengthened with His grace. The reason why we live in the promised abundant life of Jesus is His grace. Therefore all things ought to be done in grace, inspired by grace. Just as He is in this world so are we! We are no longer under the influence of the darkness, we are in the Kingdom of light where all things are pure and done in purity in the power of God’s grace.
