God is powerful

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Proverbs 16:9

“The horse is made ready for the day of the battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.” Proverbs 21:31

The Word of God is amazingly profound. The Lord Himself is great and His depth is so vast always ready to surprise us when we go deeper. He wants to be known-and with one purpose only: to discover our freedom in knowing Him. Which parent among us doesn’t want to be known by his or her children? Which one among us doesn’t want the children to know how they are protected and led by love? We want, we desire to be known.

So many times we have heard teachings that have included one daring and challenging sentence:”one word from God is powerful enough to change your life, right in this instance! ” And that is the truth! He is well able to change our circumstances or change us within that circumstance. When this process gets into motion, it causes a chain reaction:all of our plans are vain before our eyes. We realized that no matter how big they were, in the grand scheme of the Lord, they are so small, microscopic, or totally selfish and not transcendental. Once we’ve allowed Him to enter our heart, then our plans are changed because He has changed our attitudes and our intentions. We won’t be able to recognize ourselves, we will begin to see the new creation that He has created us to be. One word from God can pierce through and change us. The key for this is our readiness or better said our willingness.

God waits for our response. We think we need some high educational levels or certificates to do His will. It’s not about us working on any performance, but rather receiving the life changing word of God!
Like it is written in the Scriptures-we are blessed(prosperous, to be envied) when we believe(receive) what it has been spoken to us!
