Two Types Of Wisdom

“We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
-1 Cor. 2:12-14

The greatest challenge for each of us is to distinguish between the wisdom that this world offers and the wisdom of God.

The philosophers that do not know Jesus constantly ask questions, but the problem is that they have no answer.

Studying the Word, we come to the conclusion that there are two types of wisdom. There is the wisdom of God and demonic wisdom.

The second one, unfortunately, seduces people in this world to a great extent. Demonic wisdom, which is often defined as human wisdom, runs rampant in various fields dedicated to the human sciences.
When God is left out of a culture or generation, and along with them the sciences and realms of thought, then the center of that science or observation is not Jesus, but the so called human wisdom. That is why human thoughts and philosophies cannot give an answer to the essential questions of life. The philosophers that do not know Jesus constantly ask yet have no answer. Human philosophy seems to be very deep and broad and to bring a lot of understanding, but basically, it has no answer to essential issues and brings even greater confusion.

The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to explain the things of God. The only answer for our freedom is in Jesus Christ. We are taught by the Holy Spirit Who leads us perfectly into the perfect will of God.

Those who heartily explore wisdom will grow in the understanding of the expression ‘grace of life’.
