” But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever.” 2 Peter 3:18
” From His fullness we have all received and grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses BUT grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1:16-17
Not long ago, just few years back we tapped into something that was so beyond what we were taught and had known before-we were caught up by the revelation what does it truly mean to be saved by grace. It took a great deal of boldness to preach the Gospel of grace -just as the apostle Paul was referring to, contrary to what we have heard before, being sinners and not pleasing to God.
It brought freedom; set us on a path of discovering the greatest privilege of being christian on this planet- possessing Christ’s righteousness. And this understanding changed everything. IF NOTHING IN THIS WORLD CANNOT SATISFY US, WE MUST KNOW WHAT DOES AND THAT IS CHRIST’S RIGHTEOUSNESS ..This had its impact on the way we look upon God, the way we hold on to His promises…even the way we see the unsaved ones. It changed the way we give-not out of fear, obligation and law, but rather of knowing how abundantly we have received: all things that pertain to life and godliness. It elevated us to understand the five fold ministry church-that God is raising people within the church to share the heavenly calling..not just one or two.
So, in the light of this above, as a church we set this mandate before us: to love the church as Christ does-knowing that He has made us the head and not the tail, through His abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness enabling us to reign in life through Him..to encourage one another to pursue an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit Who leads us in experiencing the power of Jesus’ resurrection. We desire the church community throughout the world even, to taste and see the Lord is good, for them to rise up worthy to the heavenly calling; knowing they have the exclusive right to possess the truth of God and change the reality around them for the glory of Christ Jesus.
