Grace is amazing. Why? Cause is so powerful, and if we let it will teach us the secrets of Christ like life.
“The grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled upright and godly lives in the present age.” Titus 2:11-12)
In my knowledge of the word of God and my spiritual experiences I have realised that the greatest enemy in a believer’s life is fear. You might say:” well, it’s the enemy, it’s the lack of faith, or this world”; but when you go deeper into the things you will realize that the root is fear. The enemy posses the knowledge of this realm and with all its efforts tries to use it .The enemy uses fear to control, paralyze and disable the believers to function in their life and especially in their God given callings and gifts. To live in fear is like to be in a prison without wall. You can live and walk around, yet not free to live life and the freedom Christ has provided.
If I compare fear and love, fear locks you down and suffocates you, but love frees you and you can now breath easily. When you experience the love of God, the confidence and the boldness you posses will fight and overcome any kind of fear which might come towards you.
Not always we will see love and fear in their pure form. Love will take different forms. Some will recognize love when you help them with food, some will see it when you stand with them in difficult situations. If you want to see the pure and ultimate form of love, then you have to meet Jesus and look into His eyes, then you will see the PURE love.
Now, fear will also take different forms, or better to say different disguise but only with the goal to distance you from God. This is no fair game, and the enemy will use everything and anything to try to intimidate you.The forms might be different kinds of fears, invented and imposed upon a believer, only for the purpose of hindering true love.
The best antidote against fear is found in 1 John 4:18 …”There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love”.
The best truth against fear is found in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
Let’s allow grace to enable us to live in all what Christ has provided for us.
