The leadership of the Holy Spirit

“And God raised us up together with Christ and made us sit down together[giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere[by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus(the Messiah, the Anointed One). He did this that He might demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable(limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6, 7

This is an overwhelming statement from the Holy Spirit. It is stupendous, it surpasses the capacity of our mind which is limited to truly grasp what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us.

Yet, in our limited condition and capacity God made a way for this, to reveal Himself to others through us. And this is possible through the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we limit God with our doctrines, theologies and our interpretations of Who He is. Don’t get me wrong! We ought to have doctrines and knowledge about Jesus and we should have teachings, of course! But we must depend-wholly on the Holy Spirit. As written above, the grace is unsearchable, and only through the leadership of the Holy Spirit we can taste those riches of this grace and manifest them.

The mandate the church has is to point out to Jesus Who later on will guide each and everyone that comes to Him by His grace, and enlighten their eyes to see clearly and constantly reach their mark instead of missing it. That’s what salvation is all about. It was made simple for everyone and we should be encouraged when it comes to our friends and see them differently, that God always has His perfect intention and plan for their lives.
